The Construction Management degree has been developed in line with the needs of today’s construction industry, equipping you with the specialist knowledge and practical skills required to manage projects from initial design through to completion and occupation.

As a highly practical and technical field, construction management is best learned through real-world application. The course reflects this through industry-focused teaching, including live case studies, work-related learning, practical sessions, site visits, and guest lectures from experienced professionals. These elements bring learning to life and create a dynamic and engaging student experience.

On completion of the degree, you will be able to plan and deliver construction projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will also develop a strong understanding of key construction management principles, including measurement, building appraisal, design, and buildability, alongside a solid foundation in business and management theory.

As a graduate, you will be equipped to apply evidence-based approaches to analysis, evaluation, decision-making, and problem-solving within the construction sector—developing the specialist expertise that employers value.
