Assessment on this course is designed to give all students the opportunity to demonstrate a full range of knowledge, skills, and competencies relevant to computing management. A variety of assessment methods are used, including essays, reports, real-world simulations, presentations, projects, and group discussions or debates.
You will be expected to undertake independent study in your own time, including research, homework tasks, and group work. Self-directed learning is essential for success on this course, and tutors will provide guidance throughout your studies on effective approaches to learning.
Assessment methods at GBS are reviewed annually and may be updated in response to student feedback, developments in the subject area, or recommendations from an External Examiner. An External Examiner is an independent academic from another Higher Education Institution who helps ensure academic standards are maintained.
Applicants who have completed a degree within the last 5 years (UK, majority English-speaking country, or nationals of a majority English-speaking country):
- Attend an admissions interview on campus
- Hold a degree classification of 2:2 or above
- Submit a 500-word personal statement

- Demonstrate English language proficiency at CEFR Level B2

- Undertake an APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) process
